Step-by-step
Step 1 — Make sure tasks have basic info
Smart prioritization works best when tasks include:
A deadline or due date (when relevant)
A rough estimate (optional but helpful)
Step 2 — Check your prioritized list
Go to your Tasks view
Review what’s surfaced as “most important”
Identify 1–3 tasks that must happen today
Step 3 — Act on the priority suggestions
Schedule the top task in your planner
Start a Focus session for it
Step 4 — Re-check after changes
If you add new urgent tasks or move tasks around:
Revisit your priorities
Confirm the top of the list still makes sense
Tips for better prioritization
Don’t create 20 “urgent” tasks. Keep urgency meaningful.
Add deadlines only when real; false deadlines reduce trust.
