How to Download and Set Up Focly (iOS & Android)

Goal

Install Focly and complete the initial setup so tasks, reminders, and focus sessions work correctly.

Before you start

You’ll need access to the App Store or Google Play and an email or sign-in method.

Step-by-step

Step 1 — Download Focly

• Open App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)

• Search Focly

• Tap Install / Get

Step 2 — Create your account

• Open the app

• Choose Sign up (or Log in if you already have an account)

• Follow the prompts to finish onboarding

Step 3 — Enable Quick Login (optional)

• Turn on Face ID / Touch ID if offered

• This speeds up daily check-ins and planning

Step 4 — Turn on notifications (recommended)

• Allow notifications so task & habit reminders can alert you

• Choose a reminder style that fits your day (quiet vs frequent)

Step 5 — Connect calendar (optional)

• Connect your calendar if you want better scheduling and time blocking

• You can skip and connect later in Settings

Confirm everything worked

• Create 1 test task due in 5 minutes

• Verify you receive a reminder notification
